All journeys begin somewhere

We are currently in the midst of the brightly illuminated Shanghai. A city I describe as being on par with a multilevel urbanized cosmopolitan nightclub.

One could easily be dazzled by the bright neon lights, accepting of the socially responsible dress code, intoxicated by the variety of elaborately prepared refreshments, and of course consumed with the endless supply of hi-tech distractions, all under the watchful eyes of the socialist republic doormen. In this hypnotic intoxicated state the people sway and move, lost in rhythmic sounds of plutocracy.

It is here our journey begins...

How and why our story begins here is in most parts inconsequential. Of relevance is we have around 50 days before our visas expire, and thus exit China.
